Situated at a 50 min drive away, The Kinema in the Woods is a little far out yet well worth the visit! A historic and unique cinema in Woodhall Spa, famous for its charming old-world atmosphere, including pre-show Compton organ music, rear projection in its original screen (Screen One), intermission with retro ads, and multiple screens showing new releases alongside classics. It started as a sports pavilion in the late 1800s, became a cinema in 1922, and offers a nostalgic experience with its period decor, ice cream, snacks, and grounds surrounded by woods.
